The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I do not usually get up for sunrises and I do not expect them to me coming from this direction. But, I am in Mexico so my Northwest brain is turned upside down. A simple photo but the colors were so intense that I could not resist showing it off.
About Jean Noren
My passion is underwater and nature photography. I particularly like finding patterns and designs in nature and getting down to the very basics with super macro views. In my early years, I had extremely poor vision and, as a consequence, I would get very close to things in order to see them. I think this handicap influenced my technique as I tend to try and create brightly colored, closely cropped, in-your-face images that are easy to see. Revealing the beauty in the mundane is my goal. I live in the countryside of western Oregon and have no trouble finding frogs, birds, mushrooms and flowers to photograph.I travel to warm waters for underwater shots as often as possible. Enjoy the photos.
