A delicate little wildflower found hidden in the woods along the banks of the Nestucca River in Western Oregon. The black background helps make this tiny flower more dramatic. Most likely a Disporum smithii,or Smiths fairybell. Also known as a fairy lantern.

Thank you William. Your description prompted me to do some research. This was taken along the forest floor and Western Oregon. I think it's more likely to be a Disporum smithii or Smiths fairybell. Thank you for making me do my homework
