There is quite a market for ocean "critter" images right now due to the fact that many people keep reef aquariums and the coral issues with climate change. The gorgonian images like sea fans should also sell. So far, the selling aspect has been dead for me. I am trying to generate enough cash for a new dslr. My current camera has a beat up sensor and it is very very slow (3 frames per second) and I miss a lot of good shots due its lack of speed...................Jim

Jean Noren replied:

Hi Jim, I havent been too successful with selling underwater images, but I sure love taking them. Good luck on getting a new DSLR.

Jean--very cool images. I did not know that you are an accomplished marine photographer as well. I usually associate these fan worms with Porites coral...................................Jim

Jean Noren replied:

Thanks Jim. Of course I had to look up Porites! I have seen these worms mainly on brain coral in the Caribbean. Its easier to get a photo now with digital. I used to have to put a framer over the worm and hope it wouldnt retreat back into its tube.
