Description
I have sympathy for this shrimp. He has a life of endless work, cleaning larger sea critters and then has to live with a name like SQUAT. Just goes to show, life is not fair at every level. These shrimp are hard to make out. Their bodies are see through with blotches or saddle spots. Its easy to see the tentacles and spots but the heads and faces remain elusive. They live in their own anemone and serve as cleaners. They are fairly common but not always seen as they are quite small. This photo was taken with a macro lens at about 40 feet during a dive in Bonaire, Dutch Antilles.
