Beautiful Scottish textile designs seen in a shop in Edinburgh. Scotland is famous for high quality wool and cashmere and its easy to find fabric, scarfs and kilts. These fabrics are incredibly soft and luxurious and frequently feature traditional designs such as the highland cow and thistle found on these scarfs. This type of image works particularly well on pillows and bags.

My passion is underwater and nature photography. I particularly like finding patterns and designs in nature and getting down to the very basics with super macro views. In my early years, I had extremely poor vision and, as a consequence, I would get very close to things in order to see them. I think this handicap influenced my technique as I tend to try and create brightly colored, closely cropped, in-your-face images that are easy to see. Revealing the beauty in the mundane is my goal. I live in the countryside of western Oregon and have no trouble finding frogs, birds, mushrooms and flowers to photograph.I travel to warm waters for underwater shots as often as possible.
