You could hardly call it a wheel of fortune when it contains so many guns. This was found in Edinburgh castle in Scotland. The castle dates from the 12th century and is beautifully preserved. I could not determine if this was a decorative piece or a real way of storing guns, but it was fascinating to see, especially against the backdrop of the carved wooden panels.
My passion is underwater and nature photography. I particularly like finding patterns and designs in nature and getting down to the very basics with super macro views. In my early years, I had extremely poor vision and, as a consequence, I would get very close to things in order to see them. I think this handicap influenced my technique as I tend to try and create brightly colored, closely cropped, in-your-face images that are easy to see. Revealing the beauty in the mundane is my goal. I live in the countryside of western Oregon and have no trouble finding frogs, birds, mushrooms and flowers to photograph.I travel to warm waters for underwater shots as often as possible. Enjoy the photos.
