Description
Zooming in on a mushroom not only blurs the surrounding grass blades, but gives you an inkling of what it will look like if you are stupid enough to eat it. Actually I have no idea of these are poisonous or a delicacy. They grow by the millions in our Pacific Northwest property. Over a course of a very few days, they start as a closed umbrella, gradually open up and then fold back over on themselves. This one is unusual as it has not been nibbled on by things at eat our mushrooms such as mice, voles, ants, slugs, and various other small creepy things.
